Are you embarrassed about the gaps in your teeth? Is your speech affected by missing teeth? Stines Family Dentistry can improve your smile, speech, and chewing abilities with a dental bridge.

Dental bridges are designed to replace teeth by building a custom bridge that attaches to the remaining teeth for support. These bridges are not removable. The replacement teeth are typically made of porcelain and are color-matched to the other teeth for a natural look.

A traditional bridge is bonded to the back of two crowns that have been placed on the abutting natural teeth. This is the most popular type of bridge.

A Cantilever bridge only requires one crown, making it the best option when the missing tooth is at the end of a row.

Implant-supported bridges are the strongest and most stable but also the most expensive and take longer to apply. Two implants are placed in the abutting positions. The bridge is bonded to the crowns that are part of the implants.

The most economical option for a bridge is a Maryland type. The bridge frame is bonded onto the backs of two natural teeth, omitting the crowns entirely.

Stines Family Dentistry offers crowns for the replacement of missing teeth.
